Mumbai, July 10 - Bipasha Basu is eager to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the toast of the season, in the supernatural thriller "Aatma", says the film's director Suparn Verma.
Nawazuddin plays a lead for the first time in the film. The actor, who had long been overlooked, has become a name to reckon with after his performances in the critically acclaimed "Kahaani", "Paan Singh Tomar" and "Gangs of Wasseypur".

Mumbai, July 9 : Sir Paul McCartney has given his backing to Humane Society International/India''s Be Cruelty-Free campaign, the largest-ever global effort to end animal testing for cosmetics worldwide.
In many countries, animals such as rabbits, mice and guinea pigs continue to have cosmetic chemicals dripped in their eyes, spread on their sensitive skin or injected into their blood.
Mumbai, July 9 - Actress Amrita Puri, who will be seen in "Kai Po Che", a big screen adaptation of "3 Mistakes of My Life", says after reading the book she understood why Chetan Bhagat is so famous.
"The only Chetan Bhagat novel I have read is '3 Mistakes of My Life' and that is because of the film. I loved it and it is only after reading it I came to know why is he so popular," Amrita told IANS.
Mumbai, July 9 - There were reports that Ranbir Kapoor will play a vampire in "Bloody Veer", but the film's producer Siddharth Jain denies this saying they have not zeroed on anyone yet for the main lead.
" 'Bloody Veer' is a vampire film. The leading actor is not yet finalised. Ranbir Kapoor is not in the film, it was all media speculation," Jain told IANS.

Mumbai, July 9 - Actress Madhoo, who gained recognition in Bollywood with Mani Ratnam's "Roja" in 1992, now wants the filmmaker to make "Roja 2".
"I would really love to be a part of Mani Ratnam sir's film again only because it was his film that gave me the recognition that is still hands on to me," the 40-year-old said in an interview.
"I know that he understand me and I understand him and I am still hoping that he makes 'Roja 2'," she added.

Ekta is the producer of Vidya Balan starrer "The Dirty Picture", which was an unofficial biopic of southern sex symbol Silk Smitha.
Mumbai, July 6 - Nandita Das says that "Gattu" is the first work by Children's Film Society, India to be released commercially.
" 'Gattu' is the first film that CFSI is releasing commercially. We also have a Kannada and an animation film coming up. 'Gattu' will be a gate opener for all of them," Nandita told reporters Friday at the launch of Gattu's promotional song - "Laga le pech".
Mumbai, July 6 - Actor-politician Shatrugan Sinha is fine but he will have to have to stay in the hospital till his discharge date is finalised, his son Luv Sinha said Friday.
"His condition is stable and he is fine now. He (Shatrugan Sinha) will be in the hospital for one more day. Doctors will decide his discharge date by today (Friday)," Luv told IANS.

Mumbai, July 6 - Yesteryears' superstar Rajesh Khanna, who is being treated at Lilawati Hospital for almost two weeks, might be discharged over the weekend, according to a source close to the actor.
"Rajesh-ji is stable now, his blood reports came today and are normal. He might get discharged by Saturday or Sunday," the source told IANS.
